Amazon Prime Suds Box Review

If you are a budget conscious mom like I am then spending the $99.99 for Amazon Prime is definitely an investment. It has many wonderful benefits such as, Prime movies in which you have access to hundreds of different movie and television shows. Not to mention, Prime exclusive productions. They also offer Amazon Prime music that allows you to stream thousands of songs. You have access to cloud storage. These are just a few features that Amazon is offering Prime members. They recently started a sample box program. There are several sample boxes to chose from.  Each box contains eight to fifteen items and are priced accordingly. The best part is that Amazon is running a promotion that gives you a promotional credit 1 week after it is shipped to use towards an Amazon distributed product. The value of the credit is the amount you spent on the box.

I decided to try the Suds Sample Box. For $7.99, Amazon promise to have 8 sudsy samples in each box. If you are wondering what a Suds Box is comprised of, just think of soap.  All things soapy; hand soap, laundry soap, dish washing soap and cleaners. What can I say? I love cleaners.

I anxiously awaited  the arrival of my package for about a week.😞 No, you can't get 2 day shipping on it. It was a long week. The day before my package arrived I received the email with my promotional credit information. Again I will stress that the promo credit can only be used towards items distributed through Amazon. Please make sure that you are aware of this.

Yeah, the day finally arrived and that wonderful knight dressed in brown shorts delivered my package right to my hands. I could hear his Brown noisy, stead pull into the driveway. I didn't play coy, I met him at the door. I didn't bother with any greetings. I took my package and locked the door. I did it all while wearing my trusty yoga pants.

I ripped the package open and was pleasantly surprised with my purchase. I want to stress that not every package is the same. I am only detailing the contents of my box. I received : a 17 count Finish Power ball Super Charged Max in 1 Tablets, 4 fl oz Planet 2x Ultra Laundry Detergent, Planet All Purpose Spray Cleaner 4 fl oz, Wisk Deep Clean 1 load package, 2 small samples of J.R. Watkins Hand Soap, 1- eight pack of Cascade Platinum Dishwasher packs, 9.7 oz bottle of Gain Fire Works Original Scent, 1- five pack of Gain Flings Original Scent, and a 12 oz bottle of Seventh Generation Mandarin Orange and Grapefruit natural hand wash. Some of the items were full sized samples. I was not expecting the sample sizes to be very generous.

In conclusion, I am very happy with my purchase. The Amazon Suds Sample box definitely exceeded my expectations. It is wort the money I spent on the box and it did not leave me disappointed. I like that Amazon has jumped on the sample box craze because I have tried other sample boxes and this is the first that didn't make me cry and wonder why I wasted my money. The best thing about it, is that Amazon was brilliant by offering to credit your account with the amount that you spent on the box so you can use it towards future purchases. Its a brilliant marketing tactic that Amazon delivered flawlessly. So if you are like me and you get suckered into the sample box trend and you happen to have Amazon Prime this offer is perfect for you. If you don't have Prime that's okay too. You can get a free trial of Amazon Prime and try it out for yourself. With all the new perks Prime members are getting the initial membership fee really isn't that expensive.

NeilMed Naspira Nasal-Oral Aspirator Review

I would like to first say that I tried this product for free via Mom's Meet Mom Ambassador Group trial. My opinion on the product is not biased because I received the product free. I want to make that very clear.

When My Naspira Nasal-oral Aspirator arrived I wanted to debunk the claims of it not getting snot in your mouth. I also wanted to see first hand if it wasn't painful to the baby when it is used. So like any good mommy, or curious person that isn't bothered by snot. I decided to buy another one and try it on myself first. I know gross right. It really helped that our home was being taken over by drainage and congestion. It really helped that I was drowning in drainage.

I went to the bathroom and sat in front of the mirror  to read the directions and so that I could make sure I was doing it right. .As I sat in front of the mirror, following the instructions in the box. I couldn't stop wondering why I was doing this. I look ridiculous attempting to take my own snot out via this contraption.Surely it wouldn't hurt a child nor back up into the users mouth. Nope this was for the greater good. I told myself. I had to make sure it was safe, and not painful.
Five minutes went by and I was still sitting there with one tube in my nose and the other in my mouth. Now or never, I took a deep breath. That's when I remembered ,I had the aspirator ready to go. That deep breath with the tube in my mouth started the suction of snot from my nose. I had already decided not to do this, mind you, when I inhaled. Had it not been for that momentary deep thought inhaling wouldn't have been an option. I would not have gone through with the experiment and this review would not be as personal.

Okay, I did it, It worked it really worked no back up and no irritated nose!!! I could finally breath, it was amazing.Yes, if you are wondering I went ahead and finished sucking up the snot from the left nostril and forged ahead in the right one. It was gross to watch but it worked. It didn't back up into my mouth. The best part of all I didn't feel anything. Surely if I didn't feel a thing than it would work great on babies. I could hear the chorus playing in the back ground.

Can you imagine never fighting to get boogies out of your babies nose again. Never having to worry about irritating their nose with the bulb aspirators. No more crying because they feel that weird thing in their nose. What a wonderful contraption. It may look disgusting and you may think it is as well but lets be honest we moms deal with gross stuff all the time.

The real test was near, I knew that I couldn't base my review on my own results. I decided to try it on my baby. I was a bit anxious that my premature celebration would end in balloons being busted and cries blocking the sound of the choir. I went for it. I placed it in my little ones nose and began to suck the boogies out. No crying, wiggling or fighting it was just silence beautiful silence , I started and completed both nostrils without any problems. It was so wonderful and best of all my baby wasn't congested anymore either.

Later during our mommy group meeting I demonstrated how to use the aspirator. I was given samples of other NeliMed products and I distributed them to the moms. I was given a few extra Naspira aspirators. I had a contest to a few of the lucky moms. My mom group really loved the NeliMed Naspira as much as I did. We are all thankful to have been chosen to try these products out.

When I found out I was having a boy six and a half years ago my world was turned upside down. I knew absolutely nothing about baby boys. I have two younger sisters; I was not prepared to bring a boy into this world. I was excited and extremely happy that I was having a son but I had no clue what to do with one. I was in panic mode!!! I had a huge smile plastered on my face when I looked up at my husband when they revealed his gender. Yet inside I was in a sinking ship bailing out water with buckets that had holes in them. The alarms were sounding and I was panicking. I took a deep breath looked at the ultra sound picture and calm came over me. I knew I could do this. We would be learning together. I mean, I grew up with male cousins, I survived playing with boys. It couldn't be that hard? Then again when they annoyed me I could send them home. I had to take a deep breath and remind myself again that it was going to be great. It was going to be the start of a wonderful adventure. You know what? It has been the best adventure I have ever been on.

Why am I giving a back story when I am trying to tell you how awesome Imaginext is? Simple I want you to know that I literately knew nothing about how boys play in the early stages of growth. I want you to know that there was a lot of trial and error when it came to finding toys that peaked my sons interest. Especially when they are around two and three and want to play with action figures but the bigger ones aren’t built for toddler play. Let’s take a moment of silence for my husband’s action figures that did not make it after my son got a hold of them. Here's to you one legged batman, Spider girl that is now in two pieces and DeLorean that didn't make it after my son sat on it. There were many nights filled with tears. My son cried too not just his daddy.

When my son turned two we started a wonderful relationship with Imaginext toys. If you have a son around two I urge you to start your collection too. No matter what interests your child Imaginext makes a toy designed to fit that need. The greatest thing about Imaginext is that they make toys for any interest your child may have. They have Pirates, Knights, Super Heroes, Police, Dinosaurs, Star Wars, that sky and the sea are the limit. They are constantly creating new toys. I should know my son saves his allowance money to add to his obsession (I mean collection).

I have to say in all honesty my favorite “land” as my son calls them, has to be the city. I love the fact, that the police cars, ambulance, and fire truck communicate with the Rescue City Center. All you have to do is push a button on the top of the police car and as long as the Rescue Center is on it will talk to the police car. It can even distinguish the different rescue vehicles. Its refreshing that they are able to incorporate real life occupations into  the worlds of imagination that they have created. For me as a mom it is great that my sons imagination has no bounds but having a real world within the Imaginext Universe, grounds him. It encourages him to dream and understand that real occupations can be just as interesting as being a Super hero. It teaches them that Police, Doctors, EMT's and Fireman are real life heroes. So are just about any other occupation.

So, if you have a child that loves to discover new worlds: be it in the sea like Sponge Bob World, or in space like the Alien inhabitant; where you can be an alien or an Astronaut.  They can be a super hero or a villain from the DC Universe. A knight at the round table fighting with angry Vikings or pirates. Playing in Dinosaur world with the characters of Jurassic Park. Fighting Galactic tyranny in far off lands in the Star Wars Dimension. Or simply playing in the world of Disney's Pixar, the fun is limitless. The Play sets can average anywhere between $25 to $100. The figures price range from $ 2.99 for a mystery single pack to $8.99 single pack. The vehicles run anywhere between $14.99 to $29.99.
